Muay Thai /kickboxing
Thai Kickboxing or "The Art of 8 Limbs" is the national sport of Thailand and the most used striking system in modern MMA. VQMT is proud to be Maine's home for authentic Muay Thai.
What to expect: You'll learn punches, kicks, knees & elbows in a fun, high intensity class. This will be 60 minutes of pad-work, hitting heavy bags, calisthenics and partner drills.

Womens Quick Fit!
Womens only "Quick Fit" is an express 30 minute high intensity class using Tabata principals and adapting them to modern methods. This class is designed to tone and refine a womans body quickly while having fun & tightening your core muscles. We understand that you need a class to fit your busy lifestyle so you can reach your fitness goals.
What to expect: 30 minute mixture of cardio & conditioning using Bull Bags, Mace Clubs and TRX straps.
What you need: Sneakers
"The Sweet Science" from beginners to pro-fighters this class is sure to satisfy. Traditional boxing is a great way to work on cardio, balance and movement. Not only will you be getting fit but you'll also learn to be a skillful & knowledgeable boxer.
What to expect: You'll be trained in all the finer points of boxing & learning how to connect your punches, footwork and defensive movements in this 60 minute class.
What you need: boxing shoes & boxing gloves.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu focuses on the skill of taking an opponent to the ground, controlling one's opponent, gaining a dominant position and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via jointlocks and strangleholds.
What to expect: You’ll learn body mechanics, positional control, and finishing holds with a partner over a 60 minute class, followed by live drilling and sparring in a controlled environment.
What you’ll need: Shorts & workout clothing
Fight Camp Fitness
Fight Camp Fitness is our group fitness/ conditioning class to get you training like a champion. This class takes the principals of getting a fighter ready for a championship fight & applies them to your fitness goals. 60 minutes of circuit training will have you in World Champion shape.
What to expect: You'll be shedding pounds as you build speed, strength & agility in these 5 rounds of champion making circuits.
